Paul launched NorthBrook as a lending advisory group in 2001, and has subsequently worked with a wide range of lending programs, borrower groups and funders, including banks, credit unions, pension funds and a wide range of private funders and investors. He has advised the federal government on the Canada Student Loan program and has run a $1.2 billion fund on behalf of a group of Canadian pension funds providing mortgages to business-for-self individuals.
Over the last 10 years Paul has focused his attention on creating innovative solutions for commercial real estate lending. In the last 2 years Paul has been working with lenders and borrowers to develop new real estate financing programs to support what will be coming out of the new post-COVID economy.
