Cocktails

Kraknog

- 60 ml Kraken Spiced Black Rum

- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar

- 2 pinches ground nutmeg

- 2 pinches ground cinnamon

- 60 ml half and half

- 1 whole egg

- 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract


Garnish: freshly ground nutmeg and cinnamon stick

Glassware: Nog glass or rocks glass

Santa’s Little Helper

- 60 ml London Dry Gin

- 15 ml Cranberry Juice

- 15 ml Lemon Juice

- 15 ml Honey/Thyme Syrup

- 60 ml Ginger Beer


Garnish: Thyme Sprig

Glassware: Collins

Manhattan

- 60 ml Bourbon

- 30 ml Sweet Vermouth

- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters


Garnish: Brandied cherry

Glassware: Cocktail coupe or Martini

Old Fashioned

- 60 ml Bourbon

- 15 ml Simple Syrup

- 3-4 dashes Angostura bitters


Garnish: Orange zest

Glassware: Rocks

Classic Martini

- 60 ml London Dry Gin

- 15 ml Dry Vermouth (more or less to personal preference)


Garnish: Olives/Lemon Zest (personal preference)

Glassware: Cocktail coupe or Martini

What You'll Need

Tools

  • Shaker Tin (sub in mason jar, large travel mug, thermos etc)
  • Juicer (something to squeeze that citrus!)
  • Jigger (sub in measuring cups/spoons)
  • Barspoon (sub in chopstick, butter knife or something long/thin)
  • Hawthorne Strainer (sub in slotted spoon)
  • Fine Mesh Strainer (optional for smoother drink and better foam)
  • Cocktail Pick (optional - sub in toothpick, kebab skewer)
  • Straw (optional)
  • Microplane (if grating whole cinnamon/nutmeg)

Glassware

  • 1 x Collins (or any large/tall glass approx 12-14 oz capacity)
  • 2 x Rocks (something short and wide approx 10 oz capacity)
  • 2 x Coupe or Martini

Ingredients

Alcohol Supplies (per person)

  • 60 ml Kraken Spiced Black Rum
  • 120 ml London Dry Gin
  • 120 ml Bourbon
  • 15 ml Dry Vermouth
  • 30 ml Sweet Vermouth

Non-alcohol supplies (per person)

  • 60 ml Half and half
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 2 pinches nutmeg (ground or whole)
  • 2 pinches cinnamon (ground or whole)
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 15 ml Cranberry juice
  • 15 ml Lemon Juice
  • 15 ml Honey/Thyme Syrup (equal parts honey and water simmered for five minutes with 3-4

thyme sprigs)

  • 60 ml Ginger Beer
  • Thyme Sprig Garnish
  • 6 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 Orange
  • Olives or Lemon (personal choice for Martini)
  • 1 Brandied cherry (soak Maraschino cherries in brandy for a day or two)
